 A native of Chicago, Illinois, residing in Fishers, Indiana, holds a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix ground campus. She is currently working on her doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership at Trident University. Additionally, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from DePaul University and trained as a certified mediator at Saint Xavier University and Center for Conflict Resolution. In addition, she is a trained Paralegal from Roosevelt University.

Sylanda McKinnor, have over 25 years of business management experience. She meets no strangers by talking with everyone and always shares positive quotes and outlooks.  She has advocated for CASA, single parents, juveniles, and local entrepreneurs by consistently offering sound industry analysis and professional guidance. In addition, she has produced her talk show "NTL LIVE" to promote awareness for social responsibility.

The founder of the Never Too Late Foundation (NTL) 501c3 not-for-profit organization offered scholarships, provided workshops, and defused neighborhood disputes.  Recently, she created NTL LLC, a business solution company to help entrepreneurs pivot their businesses in the right direction. In addition, she has served as an educator for ten years and with Ivy Tech Community College as an Adjunct Instructor in the Business Department for the last four years.

She also works full-time as a member of the Department of Defense within the Financial Services Department.
Her passion has extended beyond the classroom walls. She's a community advocate and has served as a SCORE Indianapolis volunteer mentor for the past five years.
