Dr. Sengyong Lee is a professor for Biotechnology at Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington. He received his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Miami University of Ohio and had a postdoctoral fellowship with Dr. James Jose Bonner at Indiana University. Since 2004 Dr. Lee has developed and taught many courses and certificates in the topics of Medical Devices and Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing, the two main employment bases for the South-Central Indiana. Today, many graduates from the Biotechnology program at Ivy Tech Bloomington are recognized as a very successful workforce by the local bioscience industry in the State of Indiana. Dr. Lee served as a principal investigator for multiple federal grant projects from National Science Foundation’s Advanced Technological Education and the US Department of Labor.
