Show moreCollege of William and Mary, Purdue University. I enjoy teaching Sociology, History, Philosophy, Education, and the First-Year Experience. My research is in Part-time faculty issues within rural Applachia, the closing of rural schools in rural Applachia, and the First -Generation college students. I have worked in various administrative positions within colleges and universities over the years. I lived in Virginia for a long time but am originally from Tenn. I enjoy travelling especially in the warmer climates and my hobbies include hiking the trails in the parks, spending time at the lake and ocean.
