I am an Assistant Professor with the School of Business at the Richmond campus. I am a former Ivy Tech graduate in Computer Information Systems. I have my Bachelors Degree from Indiana University and received my Master of Science in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. I am both CompTIA and Microsoft certified in various topics. Academically, I have continued to take courses and training even after degree completion as I am a lifelong learner.

I like to draw upon current and previous career experience in the business and computing field to make classroom learning relevant and to share my real-world examples with my students so they are prepared with more than just theory when preparing for their future professions. My professional experience includes working in roles in manufacturing environments, help desk, desktop support, call center and computer repair contract work, as well as consulting.

I have applied various Management principles in many roles throughout my professional career with managing teams, individuals and projects. I am 6 Sigma certified as a green belt and completed my own, as well as assisted with various projects.
