Nicholas McRae is a motivated tech-entrepreneur who is active in the Louisville start-up community. He started his first company, McRae Technologies, in 2010 working with companies such as Hat World/Lids, Navistar, AngiesList.com, Texas Roadhouse and Samtec. Now he is working
on his second start-up, Meta Construction Technologies, which provides virtual fleet management solutions for the heavy highway construction industry.

In 2007, Nicholas graduated from Sullivan University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Information Technology and recently earned an Entrepreneurship
MBA from the University of Louisville in 2017. He was named the Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the Indiana Small Business Development Center. He has been listed as a Business First’s 20 People to Know in Technology/Innovation and a Business First Forty Under 40 honoree. He was awarded the Vogt Award, which funds deserving product and start-up ideas. He was commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel, the highest title of honor bestowed by the Governor of Kentucky. In 2018, he received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from Sullivan University and had the privilege of delivering the commencement address. 

Nicholas and his very supportive wife, Shannon, live in Southern Indiana with their two boys, Jesse and Cruz.
