Hello! I have been an instructor with Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana for 15 out of the last 20 years, and I am also a two time graduate of Ivy Tech! I graduated from the Ivy Tech School of Practical Nursing in Fort Wayne, Indiana (August 1992). I graduated from the Anderson Ivy Tech in 2000, and continued on to Governors State University in Illinois where I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in 2005. I am a lifelong student and graduated with my Masters Degree in Children, Teen & Family Ministry, in 2021, from Indiana Weslyan Seminary.

As a nurse I have worked in multiple settings such as: Longterm Care, Home Health Care, Private Duty, Staff Relief, Nursing Supervisor, Health Care Coordinator, and Staffing Manager. I bring a variety of real world experiences to the classroom! I have been an Educator for 20 years serving as an Adjunct Instructor, Full-Time Instructor, Clinical Coordinator (Harrison College), Medical Assisting Program Chair (Ivy Tech 2011-2013 and Harrison College 2017-2018)

On a more personal note; I am happily married (to my wonderful husband, Steve) and the mother of five: Jonathan  (wife: Megan) Jordan (wife: Payton) Jamie (Finace: Evan) Brayden. I have six grandchildren: Robbie, Codie Evan, Cordelia, Wyatt David, Killian Donald Eugene, Loralei Beverly Elaine, Novalee Grace Eileen, Ezekiel Michael Paul and a new Baby McDaniel arriving in Sept. 2024. We enjoy go-carts, gardening, golf, swimming, missions work, boating, movies, and video games.
