Mark received BSEE and MSEE degrees from Purdue University in 1981-1982, majoring in Computer Architecture. He worked in the computer industry for more than 20 years.
At IBM Corporation, he designed minicomputers and parallel systems for 5 years. He worked for 13 years at Intel Corporation, developing RISC processor applications, software technical training, and graphics architecture.
Mark holds 5 US Patents, relating to computer design and graphics architecture.
He has taught at IVY Tech since 2003, and at IUPUI as an adjunct 2004-2005.
