I have lived in Sullivan County for most of my life. Fun fact, I was born in Alaska (Air Force Brat) then made a few moves until the family found their way back home to Sullivan, Indiana when I was 5 years old. I started my college experience at Vincennes University straight out of high school then transferred to Ivy Tech Community College the following spring semester. However, I was not enthused enough to complete my degree and left to start working. After chasing the money and ending up at a well-paying job, I was able to support the family solely while my wife started her clinicals in the Radiology Program, here at Ivy Tech Community College. Then I started chasing my dreams again and obtain my Bachelors in Business Management from WGU in 2020. I continued on to Purdue University and finished my Masters of Accounting in 2023. Am I done getting degrees? I do not have a definite answer to that yet. In the meantime, Im thrilled to have accepted the position of the Accounting Program Chair here at Ivy Tech Community College and help all students currently chasing their dreams of a better life. |
