Bio:

I attended Indiana University, where I got a B.A. in Political Science and Religious Studies, with a minor in Philosophy and Mathematics. I then got a Jewish Studies Certificate. I studied in the graduate program at the University of London while also working in Parliament for Margaret Thatcher during the mid-1980s, and served as an election agent, campaign manager, office manager, and policy analyst. I studied at the University of London while there (Birkbeck College, School of Oriental and African Studies, and the London School of Economics). I returned to Bloomington after this to teach briefly, and became an administrator at Ivy Tech (then Indiana Vocational Technical College). I then did a Master of Divinity degree at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, graduating Summa cum Laude, and served as the seminary's Director of Communications for two years while pursuing my degree; I also taught at the seminary for five years. I am have a Master of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics, a Master of Science in Space Studies degree, a Master of Arts degree in National Security Studies (Conflict Resolution emphasis), and a Master of Science in Sports Management through the American Military University; I am currently working on an MBA with them. I worked on a Doctorate in History through the South African Theological Seminary, where I am listed as ABD. I got an Anglican Studies Certificate from Church Divinity School of the Pacific (CDSP), and studied Astronomy online with Swinburne University of Technology (Australia).  I am currently working at Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington, where I teach Astronomy, as well as a number of history topics in continuing education. I have also taught History, Philosophy, Political Science and Economics at the college. I am the designer of the History of Technology course, as well as the original Humanities course. I have also been the director of Public Relations, Alumni Affairs and Foundation for the Bloomington campus. I am also currently the chaplain at Bell Trace Senior Living Community in Bloomington, Indiana, where I conduct weekly services and Bible studies in addition to providing ministry of presence and pastoral care. I am in my twenty-second year of service there. I am also a volunteer chaplain at the local hospital. I work regularly with the local and state literacy programs, and have served on the local, regional and national boards of church and nonprofit organizations related to homelessness, hunger, poverty, social justice, and ministry issues. I have published three books of poetry, a monograph on Margaret Thatcher and Apartheid, a revision of Howard Canada's book on the Bloomington Peace Statue, a number of journal, magazine and newspaper articles in the USA and abroad, as was mentioned in Forbes magazine in the year 2000 for my online writing and reviewing.  I am currently working on two books: one, an anthology of London in poetry and art, and a second, a brief biography of astronomer Tycho Brahe.
