My passion for teaching started as a student athlete in high school when I'd go to elementary schools and mentor kids. After over a decade working in major advertising agencies, that desire or fire to teach was still there. In 2010 I joined Columbia College Chicago as an Adjunct teaching Design and Marketing courses. The Illinois Institute of Art (Ai) hired me in 2012 to teach in their Advertising Department and after a few years I also joined their General Education Department. That campus closed in 2018 and now I am part of the Ivy Tech team.

In addition to teaching I own The Icebreakers, a marketing company to help small businesses. You can find us on Facebook @theicebreakersmktg

Going back, I worked in various advertising agencies and regions on a wide range of products and demographics. I welcome all challenges, whether it's luxury vehicles, fast food, personal injury attorneys, retired couples or feminine hygiene products.

My goal is to continue entertaining and educating people through media. Also, I find it rewarding to teach and lecture to future leaders in communication.

Specialties: Branding. Targeted strategies and executions. Digital marketing. I'm great with production, pushing the idea into a great product in the end. I do creative writing, photography, event production (religious organization) and public speaking.
