Although not a native Bloomingtonian, I originally came here for school and never really left. My "day job" is working with adults with various disabilities who are seeking to return to or maintain employment. At Ivy Tech I teach ENGL 111 and ENGL 215 which gives me a chance to indulge my argumentative side. I enjoy writing and hope some of that rubs off on my students. Like many an English major before me, I have dilettante dreams of writing the best-selling-but-critically-acclaimed Great American Novel. In the meantime, I scribble poetry, spend quality time with my sweetie and family, snuggle with my kitties. FaceTime with my granddaughter, and listen to a music collection unapologetically stuck in the 1970's.
