Personally, my family and I live in a small town about an hour away from Fort Wayne. I have been married for nearly 15 years to Mike. He works as a store manager at the local Dollar General. We have two beautiful children: Jaxon is 10 years old and "all boy". Jayna is 5 years old and is a little pink princess. We have a 15 year old Jack Russell Terrier that is the laziest dog ever. I enjoy gardening, reading mystery novels, playing card games, as well as playing games with my family. Professionally, I am a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and Certified Coding Specialist Physician Based (CCS-P). I earned my associate degree from Davenport University and my bachelor degree from the University of Cincinnati. I completed both my degrees online. I worked for a large physician group. I held many different positions in the course of my 10 years there and worked in Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Neurology, Orthopedics, and GI. I have also coded in each of the specialties. Coding is my passion. I enjoy reading operative reports, learning more about surgeries, assigning codes, and knowing all the complex rules that go with coding. |
