I have an M.A. in English/Writing from the University of Minnesota and an M.A. and A.B.D. in German from Indiana University. I've taught English at North Dakota State University and Moorhead State University, and German at IU. Here at Ivy Tech, I teach English Composition, Creative Writing, the General Studies/Liberal Arts Capstone, American Literature, and German language. I currently serve as Department Chair of World Languages and Student Success on the Bloomington campus and as a course mentor for IvyOnline for ENGL 111, GENS 279/LIBA 279, and ENGL 222.
