Charlie Maiyang (pronounced "may-Young") is a veteran of the Air Force after serving six years in aerospace maintenance. She worked as a Crew Chief with extra training in all other maintenance careers to fulfill her role as a Flying Crew Chief. Using this training, she also led several teams in a special program to fix aircraft with delayed issues as well as new, unknown issues, ultimately easing the load on flight line workers and getting more missions up in the air.

She is now working with her lifelong fascination with electricity with a degree in Industrial Technology. She is also in the process of finishing her second degree in Advanced Automation and Robotics Technology before pursuing higher goals.

Charlie is a mother to two daughters, Andy and Mikazuki, and has two dogs and two cats (a giant "shepskolf" mix named Sakuruta, Tifa the tuxedo cat, Jeremy the black cat, and Nayeli the Rough Collie) as well as several freshwater fish in about 125 gallons of water. Aside from playing with her daughters, she spends her extra time writing, drawing, woodworking, or finishing house projects both large and small.
