| Bio: | Returning to school as a mature adult, I relate to students who are the first in their families to attend college. Neither of my parents graduated from high school, but my father modeled a love of knowledge by being an avid reader with a natural curiosity about our world. I hold a Master's in Nurse Midwifery from the University of Florida and a Master's in Public and Corporate Communication from the Florida State University. I taught collegiate nursing classes for ten years before coming to Ivy Tech to teach Communication. |
