I have fibromyalgia which is cronic pain throughout the body. one major sytem of fibromyalgia is stress. i was diagnosed with fibromyalgia is october 2010, filed for disability july 2011,and was approved for disability august 2013. i have 3 kids that are all over the age of 21. i currently have 8 living grandchildren. i currently live in Lakeville, Indiana. . i have been a part time student at Ivy Tech community collage since fall 2017. i began studying to be a medical assistant but then realized in the fall of 2018 that my passion was to help those in need with similar problems to the ones i have went through in my lifetime. You see, i am a domestic violence servivor and it has taken me a long time to get to where i am today. But, "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger", that my theory anyway. i have always overcome anything that stood in my way. So, I refuse to let Fibromyalgia get the best of me. That is why as of spring 2020 i decided to go for my human services degree. I plan to first get my assocciates degree in human services. Than I will continue on at IUSB for my bachlors degree in human services. i also love to write fiction stories in my spare time. i already have one self-published book which is called, "The Hard Road to Happiness" which is available on amazon. i like to also do crafts like pillows, coasters, hot pads, heat packs, and bookmarks when i can. |
