Hi Folks,
if your interest is in becoming a nurse through Ivy Tech, I will probably meet you at some point as you advance through the program. I have 14 years of experience as an RN. I recieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1994. I have been a clinical instructor for 12 years and a full time member of the nursing faculty for the last 4 years. I am currently teaching Care of the Adult I (PNU127)this spring. I also teach Obstetrics and Pediatrics at the Practical Nursing level in the summer and fall. I work PRN at Terre Haute Regional Hospital in OB and I am attending the University of Southern Indiana working on a Master of Science degree in Nursing Education. The best advice I can give you is to persevere, pray and make sure you set aside time to study! -- I'm a student too, so I know..you gotta study. Good luck. |
