My name is Brian Barnes. I've been teaching welding in the Industrial Technology Program since January of 2005. Before that, I worked as a welder/fabricator, then eventually became a welding inspector before coming to Ivy Tech. I maintain several certifications through the American Welding Society, and have served as Chairman of the Johnny Appleseed Section of the American Welding Society since 2005.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy gardening and doing metal fabrication of ornate items. |
