After almost twenty years in sales and marketing management at a local manufacturer, I decided to leave the corporate world and join a family business. Alpha Placement Services, was founded in 2001, right before the atrocities of September 11th. While we survived that nightmare, Alpha could not survive the death of my mother, Alpha's founder, and the pandemic. Unfortunately, I had to close Alpha at the beginning of 2021. While open, Alpha Placement offered employment services, direct hire placements, and staffing solutions, as well as career counseling and resume development. I have experience in every business acumen having worked for someone else and also for myself. My BS is in Marketing from Butler University and my MBA from Anderson University. I am an educator, marketer, HR geek, and sales guru at heart. I enjoy communicating with others across the various platforms available today, but nothing will ever replace in-person connections. I have always wanted to teach at the university level, and I am thrilled with the opportunities that Ivy Tech has given me. In addition to teaching at Ivy Tech, I am also a community liaison for the New Castle School System. |
