Bio:
Guitarist Jeff Foster, a professional musician and teacher for over 40 years, created and teaches the Recreational Guitar and Recreational 5-String Banjo classes for Ivy Tech's Center for Lifelong Learning, Bloomington campus. He began his teaching career at his local music store while still in high school, and since then has helped thousands of students learn the joys and intricacies of making music on stringed instruments.
Jeff is a former Instructor of Advanced Guitar at the Indiana University School of Music - Bloomington, and a former Instructor of Classical Guitar at California State University - Bakersfield. For many years he was also a Master Music Artist with Very Special Arts - Indiana, working with challenged populations throughout the state using music and arts activities to facilitate learning.
